- Kermit-M is a version of Kermit that is written in 1982 ANSI Standard MUMPS, by
- David Rossiter of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary
- Computing Facility. This version is designed for PDP-11 computers running
- InterSystem's M/11 operating system (version 5), but instructions are provided
- for converting to other machines or MUMPS implementations. The files may be
- found in the KERMIT distribution area as KER:MPKERMIT.*. Some of these files
- have very long "lines" (over 200 characters), which are apparently unavoidable
- in the MUMPS language. Thanks to Kate MacGregor of Cornell University for
- contributing this Kermit implementation through BITNET.
